MTUC/ILO-MRC - BANGLADESH EMBASSY COOPERATION TO PROVIDE GROCERIES TO NEEDY BANGLADESHI WORKERS DUE TO COVID 19 MCO.
13TH AND 14THh April 2020.
Monday and Tuesday we had 51 persons and 21 cars and we wish to also thank Bro Syamsul, Hon Secretary of Executive Union and Bro Fitri former Secretary Airod Workers Union who were helping us continuously. We also wish to thank Sis Mirosha and her friends and not forgetting NUBE members who have been also there regularly. On 14th April we were happy to also have nine (9) volunteers from Mercy Malaysia.
The volunteers have successfully delivered to almost 300 locations and we happy to see the happiness of these volunteers when they saw the joy of the needy workers who received the groceries. Most of them the employers have abandoned them without salaries.
We wish to thank Bro Soma, Bro Tai, Bangladesh students and officials who have been there from the first day to assist in coordinating the delivery of the groceries to needy Bangladesh workers.
